These times of profound transformation call for us to evolve not only what we do, but who we are — as instruments of evolution in service of personal and collective thriving.
Research and practice show that the leaders best equipped to meet this moment are the ones who have deepened their own capacity for presence, discernment, resilience, and responsiveness under complexity.
As you deepen your presence — to yourself, to your team, to the systems you lead within — you become a more resourceful, grounded, and generative force wherever you operate.
That capacity doesn't stay contained to you: it shapes how your team navigates change, how your organization holds disruption, and how the people around you experience leadership itself.
This is a developmental process — the kind of inner work that shows up in how you show up: steadier under pressure, more attuned to what's actually happening in a room, more able to guide others through transitions.
And, we need (good) company to grow. The expansion of leadership capacities is a relational and ecological process.
The circles of inquiry+practice are global, on-line cohorts of leaders and executives from different horizons, who are navigating significant transition or transformation, personally or within their organization, and who are ready to invest in their own transformative capacity as the foundation for how they lead.
Together, we embark on an inner, mutual, and systemic re-generative journey.
Together, we create spaces for advanced developmental work that is simultanously reflexive and action-oriented.
Across 5 months, in a dedicated circle of inquiry+practice, you bring your whole self — mind, heart, body, and soul — into a trasnformative process grounded in rigorous developmental and systems-thinking frameworks, alongside a small group of fellow leaders and leadership practitioners (max 12 partcipants).
Each participant identifies one personal growth edge to explore. You remain co-responsible, alongside the group, for how the work evolves.
Two 1:1 coaching sessions are included in the program to support each participant’s development at their own growth edge.
9 live online sessions - 2 hours each, plus
a private 1:1 onboarding conversation before the program begins, to connect the work to your specific leadership edge
a private 1:1 closing session, translating your insights into concrete next steps for your leadership in your environment
ICF accredited program for 20 CCEs
next cohorts start in September 2026

Module 1 – Deepening Presence
Session 1 — Presence to Self-in-relationship.
The foundation: staying present to your whole self as you lead — under pressure, in conflict, in the room.
Session 2 — Presence to Self, others, and the shared field.
Widening the lens: attuning to what moves between you and the people you lead, and the generative potential of your field.
Session 3 — Presence within the larger environment.
Widening again: holding presence and awareness while staying connected to the wider organizational and societal context you operate within.
Module 2 – Partnering for Integration and Transformation
Session 4 — Evoking developmental awareness.
Learning to recognize developmental themes and transitions — in yourself, and in the people you lead.
Session 5 — Evoking developmental awareness (deepening).
Going further into the subtler patterns beneath relational dynamics and individual growth edges.
Session 6 — Facilitating integration.
Building capacity to hold space for someone else's resilience and continuous growth.
Module 3 – Embracing Regeneration
Session 7 — Weaving ancestral awareness into leadership developmental work.
Working with lineage — how ancestral, personal and organizational patterns and resources show up in yourself and others, and how to support their integration.
Session 8 — Whole-system regeneration.
Developing systems intelligence — including how AI is reshaping the systems you lead with-in — and the ability to read and leverage patterns and resources across systems.
Session 9 — Embodying wholeness.
Bringing it together: leading from a whole-Self, whole-system view, in service of sustainable regeneration.
Your facilitator: Ilaria Distefano, PhD, PCC
I originally created this program as part of my doctoral dissertation action research in 2020,
and since then, I've been refining it together with the different cohorts I have had the privilege to journey with.
I obtained the first ICF accreditation for this program in 2021, and this is the latest reviewed edition (2026).
I particularly care about building leadership capacity to serve across disruption and transformation.
I love to do so through co-creative developmental action-inquiry. I also love to invite amazing colleagues to join me in co-facilitation,
and enrich the experience further for everyone.
This program is designed to be sponsored by your organization as an investment in your leadership development — happy to provide documentation to support internal approval.
